We are verified by the internationally recognized partner ClimatePartner and this enables us to offer our services in a climate-neutral manner via compensation.
In order to be able to archive for you in a sustainable manner, we calculate individually for each customer how much CO2 is emitted resulting from the use of our services. This value is compensated for by a compensation payment on the storage fee per carton. Rhenus Archive Services uses the compensation to support climate protection projects, such as cleaning the world's oceans of garbage and, in particular, plastic. In this way, you actively contribute with us to guaranteeing climate protection measures. Rhenus Archive Services is verified for the support of certified climate protection projects, so that by participating in climate-neutral archiving, you will receive a certificate from ClimatePartner about the amount of compensation.

In addition to the conversion of our fleet, we are implementing many other exciting sustainability projects. Our goal is to minimize the CO2-footprint, so we install photovoltaic systems at some of our locations and switch to LED lighting in all our locations. In our archives, we use motion detectors to save energy, so that only the areas in which our employees work are illuminated. If the Covid pandemic has taught us one thing, it is that training courses and meetings can take place online just as well as in person. Through this conversion alone, Archiv Services has already been able to significantly improve its environmental balance. In addition, we are in constant contact with our sister company Rhenus Data Office in order to further advance the paper and IT recycling process.
