The overarching goal is the long-term storage of the retained samples of the manufactured products. These are formed to ensure safety in the area of product liability, to be able to check quality in the long term and to meet the requirements of certifications.
Rhenus Archiv Services GmbH is responsible for fulfilling this task and offers a wide range of services for this purpose. This means that the colleagues carry out an inspection and recording of the stored goods, store them in the warehouse management system and store them professionally in compliance with the required conditions. If necessary, the retained samples are picked and transported directly to the customer in closed vehicles by our own couriers.
The customer is a traditional, internationally active manufacturer of household appliances with several thousand employees worldwide. The company offers end customers a diverse product portfolio that is produced and distributed globally.
Rhenus Archiv Services GmbH provides support in the implementation of relevant standards and stores retained samples of the goods produced.
The range of services includes the collection of the items with the associated transport in closed vehicles to one of our 15 German security archives. This is followed by posting to the warehouse management system and, in the next step, the storage of the reserve samples. Due to the nature of the archives, compliance with optimal storage conditions can be implemented. In the event of changing requirements, we can react at short notice and make an adjustment thanks to our flexible warehouse management system.
If the customer would like to access the retained samples, we bring them directly to the desired address with our own couriers.
The customer is a company that manufactures high-quality products from the field of medical technology. The devices are used in operating theatres and are indispensable for the professional execution of the operations.
The aim of the service provided by Rhenus Archiv Services GmbH is to guarantee the supply of spare parts for those of the customer's products that have already reached the end-of-life cycle and are no longer in production.
